New Moon Circle Cast

In addition to the supplies for Casting Sacred Space, you will need:

A dark blue or black candle
A representation of the Dark Goddess of your choice (Neith, Nephthys, etc.)
Notebook, Book of Shadows and a pen/pencil
Supplies for any spells you wish to do
Divination tools

Cast your Circle or Create Sacred Space in your normal fashion.

Stand at your altar and recite the Invocation to the dark Goddess:

May these words that I speak, a gift from you, call your presence into my circle and into my soul.

I am the darkness which resides within the night, and I am the deepest shadows which live by the day. It is I who rule the dark of the Moon. I have been called many names in many languages. I am Neith, Nephthys, Kali, Hecate, Lilith, Morgana, Arianhrod, Tiamet, Inanna, Persephone and Cerridwen. I am all and I am One.
It is I who led your soul to the body you now hold, just as I shall take your hand at the moment of your death and lead you through the veil. I am the last breath of life in your body and I am the first breath of life in your new body.
Speak my name in praise with each new discovery you make, for it is I who teaches you the forbidden and unknown. All mysteries of life and death are within my grasp. Shout my name in fear and I shall give you the power to overcome those fears and conquer them.
To know me is to meet me at the Crossroads, if you dare.
Hidden Truths, Wisdom and Empowerment are my gifts to those who worship me. I can make the unknown, known, for all things are connected within my web of shadows. Seek me not within the light, for I am not there. Only in darkness do I reside. Cast a circle to me in the dark of the Moon to feel my power within you.
Worship me and I shall love you, always.

Now is the time to perform any spells that deal with growth. Love spells and attracting money spells are best done during this moon phase, for as the moon grows larger so does the object or emotion of your spells. Just make sure you do not cast any spell that involves manipulating another persons emotions, thoughts or deeds. Doing that will cause yourself to become manipulated by others, and can be very disastrous.

This is also a great time for divination work to happen. Whether you use Tarot Cards, Runes, Pendulum, Scrying or any other method; they all work well during this moon phase.

When you have finished everything you wanted to do, sit within your circle and gaze at the bonfire, or at the flame of a single candle and attempt to access your past lives. To do this, focus on the flame(s) and clear your mind. The easiest past life for you to bring forward is one which corresponds to your interests in this lifetime. For instance, if you have always had a fascination with ancient Egypt, concentrate on what you know about ancient Egypt and let your mind wander through these thoughts. Write down the things that seem important to you, or the images that just pop into your mind.

Be specific – if an image of a pyramid pops up, look at it carefully and discover which pyramid it is. Write down as many details as you can, and research these details later, on the internet. When your research turns up something familiar, you have found a part of a past life.

Another way to access clues to past lives, is by the television. If you have cast your circle in a place where you can view the TV, make sure you have your remote control in your sacred space with you. When you want information on your past lives, light a yellow (for divination) candle, and start channel surfing until something catches your eye. Watch that program and take notes, what was it that attracted your attention and why? What extra info did you receive while watching this program? Then hit the internet for additional research. By the Way – soap operas, sports shows and sit coms don’t count. You have as much chance of accessing a past life while watching ‘All My Children’ or Nascar as you do pulling your entire body through the eye of a needle that you found in a haystack. I'm talking shows you find on the Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, Learning Channel, History Channel and so forth.

Once you have done everything you can do on past lives, close your circle in your normal manner, and get on with your research!
