Festival of Set This ritual should take place indoors during a thunderstorm. It is never a good idea to be outside during any storm activity, so make sure you practice safety above all else. During a storm, you will find that the air is full of power. The God that controls that power is Set, God of Thunder and Master of the Chaos from which our earth was formed. Now is the time to worship Set in all his glory. Kneel or sit in a dark room, where you can look out a window without having to be right next to the window and watch the storm. This is natures best sound and light show. As the storm is building, allow the powerful forces to enter your soul. Read the following out loud: A storm is brewing on the horizon. Breath deeply and count the seconds from the lightning to the thunder. When there is no time in between, the storm is right on top of you, at it’s worst, (or best, depending on your point of view). Say: “Great God Set, I praise your names Use the power within yourself to do some spellworking or
divination work if needed. |
